Congratulations to Several WES Staff Members
This past week WES took part in the annual Cary Chamber of Commerce Honor a Teacher program. Each year Cary area schools nominate 5 teachers for their hard work and dedication towards education. This year's WES's nominees were Ann Douds, Heather Whalen, Shannon O'Donnell, Mandi Baggett, and Cindy Taylor. The winner was Heather Whalen. Ms. Whalen is currently a 4th grade ELA/SS teacher, the mentor coordinator, and the chair of the talent show. Congratulations to Mrs. Whalen.
Shannon O'Donnell was also recognized this past week at the WCPSS Teacher of the Year Banquet.
Michele Fralin was recognized earlier this year as the WES TA of the Year.
Ms. O'Donnell and Mrs. Fralin were both nominated by their peers.
